exorcismo: (Default)
in character

Character Name: Eleanor Hume
Canon: Tales of Berseria
Age: 18

Personality/Background:
Eleanor learned what loss and powerlessness felt like at an age younger that most. When her childhood home was ravaged by daemons her mother gave her own life so Eleanor could live-- before they parted ways for good the last thing her mother told her was to be strong.

Eleanor since that day, has been guided by a desire to make sure that no one else would ever feel what she felt on that day. Taken in by the Abbey/church, Eleanor spent her early years of life assuming she would be a nun; helping people with the limited resources available to her. But when her powers were awakened she had the ability to become an exorcist, and thanks to her ambition and drive climbed the ranks rather quickly for someone her age.

At her core Eleanor wants to do good.

From the canon point I'm taking her from she has a very black and white view of right and wrong. There are only good people and bad people, and anyone who falls into the latter category should not be allowed to exist-- killing is more than acceptable if it means disposing of someone who is fundamentally bad.

Despite her extreme views she's a little naive, and can be incredibly childish sometimes. She is typically incredibly cheerful and easy to get along with; she likes meeting new people and getting involved in their lives. Underneath that though is a lot of unaddressed trauma and residual anger (at herself and the rest of her the world). She feels her emotions a little too strong, and is prone to outbursts when her emotions get the better of her.
